| My Experience During my 15 years as a freelance editor, I have edited numerous books, articles, theses, academic papers, and other manuscripts. I am known for my attention to detail, my ability to see the 'big picture,' the excellent working relationship I develop with authors, and my good turnaround time and respect for deadlines. What I Provide My primary goal is to provide the author with a well-written manuscript. I accomplish this not only by correcting grammar, spelling, etc., but also by reorganizing and rewriting, where appropriate, and by making suggestions for further improvement. In addition, through my suggestions and explanations, I help authors continually improve their writing. Some Books I've Edited The Joy of Freedom: An Economist's Odyssey (Financial Times/Prentice Hall, 2002) Co-opetition (Doubleday, 1997) Why Not? How to Use Everyday Ingenuity to Solve Problems Big and Small (Harvard Business School Press, forthcoming) The Strategy and Tactics of Pricing (Prentice Hall, 1987) The Best is Yet to Come (AmeriPress, 2001) |
